Charles Stanley Direct was the first broker Sentryfolio ever read, because it is the one its owner uses. Two kinds of file work, both exported by you from your own account. No linking, no credentials.

Valuation or statement, both welcome
The Combined Portfolio Valuation spreadsheet gives Sentryfolio a full picture of what you hold in one go: every position with its identifier, quantity and cost. Your statements carry the story over time: purchases, sales and dividends as they happened. Start with the valuation for an instant portfolio; add statements whenever you like and the record deepens.
Statements covering a rolling window are fine. Upload this month's, then next month's: anything the watch has already seen is recognised and nothing is ever double-counted.
What the watch reads
Pence, pounds and honesty
UK stocks quoted in pence while costed in pounds are a Charles Stanley speciality, and Sentryfolio handles the arithmetic once, at import. Each purchase becomes its own lot at the true price paid; sales are matched oldest-first; dividends land in the income ledger.
One honest limit: for overseas stocks these files state your cost in pounds while the shares trade in dollars or euros. Rather than inventing an exchange rate, Sentryfolio prices those holdings live but leaves their cost-based alerts off. Figures are never mixed across currencies, here or anywhere.
