Tracking an eToro account
eToro thinks in positions rather than orders, and Sentryfolio counts it that way: each position becomes its own parcel with its own cost, and a close is charged against exactly the parcel it closed. One workbook from your own account is all it takes.
The file
The account statement
From eToro's settings, download an account statement running from the first of January to today, as an Excel workbook. That one file carries your open positions, every close with its own opening details, and each dividend alongside the tax withheld from it.
Upload it monthly or yearly as you prefer. Statements overlap freely: a position can never be counted twice, however many files mention it.
What the watch reads
Parcels, not averages
Fractions from copied portfolios are preserved to the last decimal, splits arrive already accounted for, and US, European and London listings each keep their own currency. Leveraged trades are recognised for what they are and kept out of the share ledger: a bet is not a shareholding.
What each closed position banked is a figure from your own statement, not an estimate.
