IG's share-dealing exports carry everything Sentryfolio needs, across as many IG accounts as you hold. Files only, exported by you. Your login stays yours.
The files
Trade history and transaction history
IG offers two downloads and Sentryfolio wants both: the trade history (your purchases and sales) and the transaction history (dividends and cash movements). Together they give the watch the whole picture; either alone still works.
One practical tip: keep the downloaded filename as IG wrote it. The file's name carries your account's own code, which is how an ISA and a SIPP stay separate inside Sentryfolio. They are different legal pots, so their bookkeeping never crosses.
What the watch reads
Each account, kept to itself
Purchases become exact lots per account; the same stock held in your ISA and your SIPP appears as two positions, separately costed, exactly as the law sees them. UK prices that arrive in pence are checked against each trade's own total, so a pounds-and-pence mix-up cannot slip through.
Re-uploading a file, or uploading a new month that overlaps an old one, is always safe: everything already recorded is recognised and left untouched.
