The importers
Tracking a Trading 212 portfolio
Trading 212's export is the cleanest in the business, and Sentryfolio reads all of it: every trade, every dividend, every fraction of a share. No account linking, no passwords. One file, exported by you.
The file
One CSV from your history
In the Trading 212 app or website, open your history and export it as a CSV. Each export covers up to one year, so if your account is older, export a file per year back to your first trade and upload them all. Sentryfolio joins them into one exact record, and uploading the same file twice never duplicates anything.
The export names every holding by its ISIN, the identifier that never changes even when a ticker does. That makes Trading 212 imports the most precise kind Sentryfolio receives.
What the watch reads
Trades, income, fractions
Market and limit orders become exact purchase lots at the price you actually paid, in the currency you paid it. Fractional shares are kept to the fraction: 0.0653669 of a share is recorded as exactly that. Dividends, interest on cash and lending interest all land in the income ledger, month by month.
London stocks quoted in pence are converted to pounds once, at import, and never touched again. Dollar and euro positions stay in their own currencies: Sentryfolio never converts one into another.
Worth knowing
The honest details
A file that starts mid-history can show sales of shares bought before its window. Sentryfolio notices, skips those holdings honestly, and tells you which earlier year to export rather than guessing. Corporate actions such as splits are flagged for your say-so instead of being applied silently. And your file stays in your own vault on Sentryfolio's server, readable by nobody else.
